It is not enough for the municipality to be wealthy. The ranking of local governments by "Rzeczpospolita" rewards sustainable development

The Ranking of Local Governments by "Rzeczpospolita" evaluates municipalities based on sustainable development rather than spending. It is overseen by an independent committee led by Jerzy Buzek, focusing on various criteria derived from statistical data and surveys. The ranking assesses municipalities in four areas: infrastructure and safety, social aspects, finance, and environmental initiatives, with a total of 94 points available. This year emphasizes safety, rewarding municipalities for investments in civil protection and crisis management. The results will be announced on December 7 in Warsaw, highlighting effective governance regardless of municipality size.
