"Ninho: The Price to Pay" on Netflix: A Look Back at the Meteoric Career of a French Rap Star

The documentary features Ninho, a prominent French rapper, who shares his experiences and challenges in the music industry. Despite his success, he remains relatively unknown to the general public due to his rare interviews. Ninho discusses the darker aspects of the rap scene, including pressures and attempts at extortion. His friend Yanis Tiliouine, who has documented Ninho's journey, proposed the film to Netflix to explain the rapper's decision to potentially retire after a decade in the industry. The project is co-directed by Thibaut de Longeville, known for his work in hip-hop documentaries.
