Notaries can charge higher fees. New rates from Thursday

The Polish Ministry of Justice has increased the maximum fees for notarial services due to rising costs and complexity of tasks. The new rates, effective from November 5, significantly raise fees for wills, powers of attorney, and inheritance certificates. For example, the fee for a will has increased from 50 PLN to 200 PLN, while the fee for a power of attorney for a single action has risen from 30 PLN to 100 PLN. Additional charges for services outside the office have also been introduced, with maximum fees now set at 100 PLN during the day and 200 PLN at night. Notaries can negotiate fees with clients, which may be lower than the maximum rates.
