New members of the NBP board. The president has decided

On November 5, President Karol Nawrocki appointed new members to the Management Board of the National Bank of Poland, including Marta Kightley as Vice President. The appointments required the Prime Minister's countersignature, which was provided by Donald Tusk on November 3. The urgency arose as the term of the previous Vice President, Adam Lipiński, ended on November 4, reducing the board to five members, below the legal requirement of six. Changes are also expected in the Monetary Policy Council, as Kotecki and Litwiniuk, current members, need to be replaced by new appointees from the parliament.
