OE. Parties suggest more than 2,800 amendment proposals

Political parties submitted over 2,800 amendments to the 2027 State Budget, setting a new record. The Chega and PCP parties led with the most proposals. The deadline for submissions was extended due to the Finance Minister's hearing, where concerns about fiscal balance were raised. The total number of amendments reached 2,864, surpassing last year's record of 2,176. The PSD/CDS-PP submitted 84 amendments, while other parties like PS, Iniciativa Liberal, and BE also contributed significantly.
