Opposition to Netanyahu gains support from the Unified List to form Government in Israel

The Unified List has announced its support for centrist Gadi Eisenkot to form the next Israeli government, opposing Benjamin Netanyahu. They will recommend Eisenkot to President Isaac Herzog as a response to public demand to prevent Netanyahu's return to power. Herzog has begun consultations with parties elected in the October 27 elections, where no political bloc achieved a majority without alliances.
