Portugal: Housing protesters return to Lisbon square after court ruling
A popular assembly in Lisbon's Rossio square gathered over a hundred people protesting against the housing crisis. Protesters set up tents and displayed banners, with around 80 tents remaining by morning. The police presence was minimal following a court ruling that allowed one activist to camp overnight. Prime Minister Luís Montenegro urged against violent protests and invited opposition leaders to propose housing solutions. Acampada members agreed to engage in talks with President António José Seguro, although no date has been confirmed.
