KO MP arrested in the courtroom

An investigation is underway regarding allegations of fraud and corruption related to tram infrastructure modernization contracts in the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis. A member of parliament is accused of accepting financial benefits from two entrepreneurs seeking his influence for business matters. The European Public Prosecutor's Office claims that among the benefits received were a trip to Thailand and the use of a car for an overseas trip. Wojciech Król denies ever visiting Thailand and states that he borrowed the car from a friend for a trip with several people.
