Racing Power president suspended for 46 days

Mariana Duarte, president of Racing Power, has been suspended for 46 days and fined 562 euros due to three separate incidents involving aggression towards a referee during a Liga BPI match. The sanctions include multiple suspensions and fines for leaving the technical area, insults, and physical assault on the fourth referee. The incident occurred on October 30 during a match against Vitória de Guimarães. The Football Referees' Association condemned the aggression and called for appropriate sanctions. Racing Power claims the incident should be viewed in context, stating that Duarte was trying to alert the referee about an injured player when she was expelled and subsequently pushed the referee. The case may also lead to criminal charges as it has been referred to the Public Ministry.
