The number of people violating the driving ban is increasing. The government is preparing harsher penalties.
Increasingly, people are violating driving bans imposed by authorities or courts. A recent incident in Brno involved a man who, despite having a driving ban, fatally struck an elderly pedestrian at a crosswalk. Such tragic cases are on the rise this year, alongside a surge in aggressive driving behaviors like road rage and tailgating.
