Prince Harry and Elton John appeal against the Daily Mail

A group including Prince Harry, Elton John, and Liz Hurley is appealing a Supreme Court decision favoring the Daily Mail publisher, accused of illegal information gathering. After a judge ruled in June that the group failed to prove their claims of illegal information collection, they announced their intention to appeal, stating the decision was legally and factually incorrect. The media group ANL denies the allegations, which were part of an eleven-week trial in London. In August, the judge ordered the claimants to pay £9.5 million to cover the media group's legal costs.
