During the Polish Local Government Congress, Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced a proposal for a constitutional amendment aimed at renewing the composition of the Constitutional Tribunal. He emphasized the need for a temporary, new composition to stabilize the current political situation and restore principles lost during the previous PiS coalition. The proposal includes a one-time selection of tribunal members for fixed terms, with involvement from judicial bodies and the National Judiciary Council. Kosiniak-Kamysz called for support from all political factions to achieve this constitutional change, highlighting its importance for the rule of law and citizen welfare.
