PSP seized 23 kilograms of heroin in drug trafficking detention

On Tuesday, the PSP arrested two men, aged 24 and 27, in Campo de Ourique, Lisbon, for drug trafficking, seizing over 23 kilograms of heroin and one kilogram of cocaine. The arrests were part of an ongoing investigation targeting direct drug sales to consumers, particularly in the Alcântara area. The police had been monitoring the suspects since July, gathering evidence of drug sales and identifying two residences used for storing drugs. The seized drugs are estimated to be worth over 2 million euros, marking the largest heroin seizure of the year. The suspects will face a judicial hearing for coercive measures.
