Rocky and Rambo, both born in the same year and living in Budapest, were recruited as informants but had different backgrounds and handlers. Their codenames were revealed in a recently published database, showing they were registered from 1987 to 1989, coinciding with the influx of Western films in Hungary. Despite their American hero personas, both characters were influenced by the ideology of their time. Other informants from 1987 included Adidas and Black Sabbath, highlighting a trend of Western-inspired names during that period.
