Raymond van Barneveld (59) qualifies for the World Darts Championship for the 34th time

Raymond van Barneveld has successfully qualified for the World Championship at Ally Pally after a challenging year. He fell outside the top forty of the world rankings, requiring qualification through Pro Tour events. Despite earlier struggles, recent victories allowed him to secure his spot. Although there is a theoretical chance he could miss out due to ranking changes, it is highly unlikely. Van Barneveld last failed to qualify in 1994 and missed the tournament in 2020 due to a temporary retirement. His last world title was in 2007.
