Solid results from NOS provide conditions to continue investing in Portugal says CEO

Miguel Almeida, CEO of NOS, highlights strong results up to September, enabling continued investment in Portugal. The company gained 111,000 new services, reaching over 11 million in a competitive market. Their 5G network covers 99.6% of the population, with significant investments in infrastructure. NOS utilizes AI for improved customer service, handling over 50,000 requests monthly. The company also saw a historic summer in cinema ticket sales, with 2.8 million tickets sold in the quarter. Excluding non-recurring effects, profit rose by 21.7% to €216.4 million, with consolidated revenue increasing by 2.3% to €1.399 billion, driven by growth in IT and cinema sectors.
