Extensive Russian attack on Kyiv injured five people, hit a kindergarten and energy facilities

Five people were injured during a nighttime Russian attack on Kyiv, according to Mayor Vitaliy Klychko. Residential buildings, a key bridge, and energy infrastructure were damaged. The Russian army targeted the Ukrainian capital with ballistic missiles, impacting energy facilities in Kyiv and the Zhytomyr region. The situation regarding energy supply in the capital is extremely difficult. Among the injured is a fourteen-year-old child, and debris hit a five-story residential building. The military administration reported damage to a kindergarten as well. Klychko noted that the use of ballistic missiles complicates interception by air defense systems, with explosions heard throughout the city and its suburbs.
