Consultations on the Clean Transport Zone in Krakow are starting
Residents of Krakow can express their opinions on a proposal to freeze current fees for entering the Clean Transport Zone (CTZ) until November 27. Currently, the fees are 2.5 PLN per hour, 5 PLN per day, and 100 PLN for a monthly subscription. Without the proposal, these fees were set to increase significantly in the coming years. The proposal aims to maintain the current rates for 2027 and 2028, focusing solely on fee adjustments. Meanwhile, broader changes to the CTZ are being discussed, including a potential reduction of its area. The proposal will be presented to the city council in December, with further changes to be communicated to residents soon. The CTZ has been in effect since January 1, 2026, restricting access to vehicles that do not meet emission standards unless a fee is paid.
