The CEO of HungaroControl was relieved of duty at his own initiative
Turi Ferenc has retired from his position as CEO of HungaroControl after 47 years of service, as confirmed by the Ministry of Transport. His successor, Éva Kállai, will take over from January 1, following an internal selection process that highlighted her extensive leadership experience in aviation. Kállai is familiar with the challenges facing HungaroControl and has previously served as the head of aviation. The company is strategically important, requiring a deep understanding of both the aviation industry and air traffic management. Turi was appointed CEO in August 2024 under the oversight of the Ministry of Economic Development, and he discussed the company's successes and challenges in a May interview with 24.hu.
