Sam Altman donated 13-button keyboards to Samsung

Sam Altman attended a strategic meeting with Samsung leaders, bringing the OpenAI Codex Micro keyboard as a gift. This compact device, priced at $230, is designed for issuing commands to OpenAI's Codex agent rather than traditional typing. It features 13 mechanical switches, a joystick, and a rotary knob for managing AI tasks. The keyboard reflects Altman's vision of future human-computer interaction, suggesting a shift away from full keyboards. OpenAI has not confirmed future products, but rumors include AI-powered glasses and speakers. Altman emphasized that leveraging AI effectively is key to maintaining a competitive edge.
