Sánchez will launch his campaign in Seville, the only Andalusian province where the PSOE remains unbeatable
Pedro Sánchez will launch the PSOE's campaign for the November 29 elections in Seville, the only Andalusian province where the party remains dominant. With 12 seats at stake, the PSOE aims to maintain its electoral leadership since 1977. Currently, the PSOE holds five of the twelve congressional seats and three of four senatorial positions, although it lost its majority in the Andalusian Parliament to the PP in 2022. The PSOE's candidate for Seville, Alfonso Rodríguez Gómez de Celis, expressed doubts about matching previous results. The campaign will focus on public services and pensions, with 150 events planned in the province. The party is also addressing recent political challenges, including the resignation of Óscar Puente as Transport Minister.
