Scoring Teun Koopmeiners hurts old club AZ and brother Peer with Juventus

Teun Koopmeiners scored the opening goal for Juventus against AZ, leading to a 0-2 halftime score. Despite a late goal from Mexx Meerdink, AZ could not equalize as a potential second goal was disallowed for offside. This defeat ended AZ's long unbeaten home streak in European matches, with their last loss at home occurring over three years ago. AZ remains in contention for the Europa League with four matches left, while Koopmeiners celebrated his goal respectfully against his former club.
