Series of bomb threats. Over 1500 people detained on the Greek island
Greek authorities conducted an operation on the ship "Crown Iris" after an anonymous tip claimed an explosive was attached to its hull. The vessel, carrying 940 passengers and 597 crew members, was set to sail to Haifa when the threat was received. Coast guard officials searched the ship but found no explosives, although further checks are pending before it can continue its journey. Passengers were temporarily evacuated and are awaiting permission to return. Earlier, several commercial flights in Europe received false threats, including Ryanair flights and others heading to Warsaw. A Wizz Air flight had to make an emergency landing in Budapest due to a similar threat.
