Convicted of murdering "Pershing" fought for compensation. The court made a decision

Ryszard Linard-Bogucki has been awarded nearly 1.5 million PLN in compensation for wrongful arrests, despite seeking 72 million PLN. The Krakow District Court ruled in his favor regarding two cases where he was acquitted. Linard-Bogucki, previously convicted for the murder of 'Pershing', argued that his wrongful detention caused significant financial and emotional harm. The court's decision included compensation for lost income and suffering during his imprisonment. The judge emphasized that compensation should reflect the actual harm suffered without leading to unjust enrichment. Linard-Bogucki was released from prison in January after serving 25 years for his conviction.
