Draw perspective Sporting-Benfica in the `quarter-finals` of the futsal Champions League

The draw for the futsal Champions League has set Sporting to face TFK Beitar and Benfica to play Kauno Zalgiris in the round of 16. Both teams will play their first legs away on November 23, with return matches on December 4. If they advance, a Lisbon derby is expected in the quarter-finals, reminiscent of last season's encounter. In the 2025/26 season, Sporting eliminated Benfica to win the title. The final four will take place in Biel/Bienne Arena, Switzerland, with semi-finals on May 7, 2027, and the final on May 9.
