Strnad can seek contracts for the modernization of seven ammunition plants in the USA
Czechoslovak Group (CSG) has been selected to compete for contracts worth up to $4.2 billion for the modernization of seven U.S. ammunition plants. The U.S. Army will award projects individually over five years through the MATOC program. CSG's U.S. subsidiary, MSM North America, will handle the contracts, which aim to enhance production capabilities and introduce modern technologies. The modernization includes facilities in Tennessee, Virginia, Missouri, Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Illinois. CSG's previous collaboration with the U.S. Army includes a $635 million contract for a new large-caliber ammunition plant in Iowa, set to be operational by 2029. CSG is a leading European defense and industrial group based in Prague, employing over 14,000 people and reporting revenues of €6.7 billion last year.
