The ceiling collapsed on a sleeping woman. She was rescued from the rubble by police.

In the early hours of Wednesday, police responded to a call about a ceiling collapse in a residence in Przyczyna Dolna. Officers Szymon Szachniewicz and Roland Walenciak arrived first and found an 84-year-old woman trapped under debris. They assisted her to safety and provided first aid before she was taken to the hospital, where her life is not in danger. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the collapse, and part of the building has been closed off for safety.
