Sven Nys Academy expands with 5 cycling camps in Middelkerke: "Bumping into limits in Baal"

Sven Nys is expanding his cycling camps for children to Middelkerke, with five weeks of offroad biking scheduled for 2027. The camps will take place at sportpark De Krokodiel, complementing existing programs in Baal. Nys aims to provide opportunities for more children, including those from abroad, to participate in cycling activities. The camps focus on skill development, safety, and enjoyment, encouraging kids to engage in outdoor sports away from screens. Mayor Jean-Marie Dedecker expressed pride in this collaboration, highlighting Middelkerke's commitment to cycling events.
