Several new European flights received bomb threats

The BBC reports a new wave of bomb threats affecting multiple flights in Europe, with over ten incidents on Thursday alone. An Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Rome made an emergency landing in Evreux, France, after issuing a distress signal. A Finnair flight from Helsinki to Rome was also threatened but landed safely in Rome under military escort. In Bucharest, nearly 200 passengers were evacuated from a Wizz Air flight from Milan after it landed safely. The Polish LOT airline's flight from Warsaw to Brussels was cleared without finding any explosives. Czech police reported threats to four flights heading to Prague, deeming the threats low significance. Previous bomb threats had already led to airport closures earlier in the week.
