Róbert Szikora was a network person, according to the singer he did not report anything about anyone.
The state security files reveal that R-GO's founders, Róbert Szikora and Attila Környei, had 6-os cards indicating their involvement with state security. Szikora was recruited in 1984 and was still active at the time of the regime change in 1990. He denies being an informant, stating he never reported on anyone. Security discussions were common before concerts, especially regarding interactions with foreign journalists. Környei was recruited in 1988 and also remained active during the regime change, but his reports are not archived. Previous research indicated that R-GO concerts were monitored, and other musicians, like Zoltán Kékes from Hungária, were also registered as network personnel.
