The Hungarian industry has not been in such good shape for more than 2.5 years.
In September, Hungarian industry continued to grow, achieving an 8.2% increase compared to the previous month. This performance brought output back to 100.2% of the 2021 average. Year-to-date growth reached 4%, contrasting with a 3.4% decline in the same period last year. The preliminary data indicates that production volumes increased in most manufacturing sectors, particularly in vehicle manufacturing and electronics, while food and beverage production declined. Analysts note that new capacities in vehicle manufacturing and AI-related production in electronics contributed to this growth, with a positive shift in electrical equipment manufacturing as well.
