Tractor crashes into tree in Ypres: trailer overturns on the road, driver taken to hospital

A 17-year-old French boy crashed his tractor into a tree in Voormezele, Ieper, causing the trailer to overturn and block the road. The incident occurred around 11 AM when the police received a report of the accident. The tractor was traveling from Vlamertinge to Voormezele and had already lost part of its load before crossing Ruuschaartstraat. The overturned trailer, filled with bags of stones, obstructed the street, requiring two tow trucks for removal. The driver was taken to the hospital for precautionary checks but was unharmed, with a negative breath test result.
