Trump: A "big, beautiful deal" will end the war in Ukraine, and "everyone will be thrilled"

Donald Trump predicts a resolution to the Russia-Ukraine war after a private meeting with Kirill Dmitriev, a representative of Vladimir Putin. He promised a "great, beautiful agreement" that could impact all of Europe. The meeting took place during a White House event hosted by Melania Trump, attended by both Russian and Ukrainian officials, but Trump only spoke with the Russian representative. He stated that the U.S. is "very close" to resolving the issue, yet did not provide any details. Trump used similar language to describe a significant legislative initiative from his previous term.
