Turkey: shooter detained after killing eight while fleeing

Eight people were shot dead and two others injured in central Turkey. The shooter fled through various villages, continuing to fire, but was eventually apprehended by Turkish authorities. The suspect, armed with a shotgun, killed three women in Yukarıtandır and later shot three more individuals in Ayazini. After a manhunt, he was found in Seyitgazi, where he exchanged gunfire with police, injuring two officers before being captured. Authorities are investigating a separate incident involving a woman shot in her car, suspecting it may be linked to the same shooter.
