WhatsApp is getting a new image sending feature

WhatsApp has enhanced its feature that suggests stickers based on emojis by now offering users the last saved image from their gallery when opening a chat. This functionality is similar to a recent update on Messenger, which displays the last image as a sticker. Users can choose between two options on WhatsApp: one mimics Messenger's approach, while the other temporarily shows the last image in place of the camera icon. Tapping the suggestion opens an editing interface for reviewing the photo or video before sending, allowing users to add captions or stickers. The system does not filter suggested content by type or source, simply selecting the most recent item from the gallery. This new feature will soon be available for both Android and iPhone users.
