Stolen car of the prime minister's family. Punishment of ruthless imprisonment
On November 5, a court in Elbląg sentenced Łukasz W. to three years in prison for car thefts, while his accomplice Stefan N. received a sentence of one year and three months plus a fine. The court found clear evidence linking both men to the crimes, including biological traces and surveillance footage. They were involved in the theft of a Lexus belonging to the Prime Minister's wife, among other vehicles. The judge noted Łukasz W.'s partial admission of guilt and previous convictions for similar offenses. Both defendants were not present in court and are currently free, having served time in custody prior to the trial. The court ordered them to cover the trial costs, totaling 111,000 PLN, which they are deemed capable of paying due to their assets.
