Ukrainian forces target oil refinery as explosions reported across southern Russia
A Ukrainian drone attack ignited fires at the Afipsky Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, on November 6. Explosions were also reported in the Adygea Republic. Local officials have not yet commented on the incident. The Afipsky refinery, one of the largest in the area, was previously sanctioned by the EU for its involvement in the war against Ukraine. This attack follows a series of drone strikes targeting military and economic sites in Russia, including the Ryazan oil refinery and a logistics center for Ozon. No injuries were reported in the Ozon attack, and emergency services responded promptly.
