A bus accident near Bourg-en-Bresse causes several casualties

An accident involving an intercity bus in Lent, near Bourg-en-Bresse, resulted in multiple casualties, according to local authorities. The bus left the road and hit a tree, with reports of two individuals in cardiac arrest and several injuries. The incident occurred around 7 AM on the D22 road. A departmental operational center was activated to coordinate crisis management efforts. Two helicopters were dispatched, and a local emergency plan was initiated to assist affected families. Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot announced he would visit the site.
