Father of Meghan Markle arrested on suspicion of possessing child abuse images

Federal agents raided the nursing home of 82-year-old Markle Sr. after discovering large amounts of suspected child abuse material in his former home in the Philippines and a rented storage unit in Mexico. Authorities reportedly seized computers, USB drives, VHS tapes, and other materials during the raid. Markle Sr. was already under investigation in the Philippines, where authorities found approximately 7,500 images and a video allegedly depicting child sexual abuse. The investigation was initiated after his son, Thomas Markle Jr., reported finding hundreds to thousands of disturbing images among his father's belongings in Cebu. Markle Sr. has previously denied the allegations, calling them "sick lies."
