It occurs very rarely in Europe. One has hidden among the packages

Volunteers from Ekostraż received an unusual report about a European dormouse found in a truck returning from France. The animal, considered nearly extinct in Poland, is currently in quarantine at a rehabilitation center. Experts are consulting on its future, as its fate remains uncertain. The European dormouse is one of the rarest rodents, primarily found in several European countries, with its only known Polish habitat in Babia Góra National Park. It is critically endangered and protected by law.
