‘We are almost overwhelmed by all our ideas’

Margareth van Aken and Léon-Marie Dekker live on a farm near Doetinchem, investing their time and resources in renovations and caring for numerous animals. They met during their studies at Artez and later moved to Rotterdam, where they participated in a communal living project. After relocating to a quieter area, they faced financial challenges but managed to sustain themselves through various means, including renting out a tent. Currently, they balance their work and personal projects while dreaming of building a vacation home. Despite the difficulties, they cherish their life together and the joy their animals bring them.
