Winterland Hasselt gets Austrian winter bar and revamped House of Santa Claus: "Attracting visitors to the city center as well"

From next Friday until January 3, Hasselt's Kolonel Dusartplein will host Winterland, featuring a new two-story wooden winter bar built in Austria. The Santa Claus House will be redesigned by Jurgen Bollen, aiming to create an immersive experience. The city encourages visitors to explore the downtown area, with initiatives like the Santa Parade on December 6 to connect Winterland with local shops and restaurants. Last year, Winterland attracted 670,000 visitors, and this year, it will also include ice skating lessons on the Winterland rink during the holiday season, alongside 40 other activities over seven weeks.
