Żurek called for payment of the first six so-called neo-judges of the Supreme Court
During a press conference, Żurek emphasized the need for civil lawsuits against so-called neo-judges in the Supreme Court due to their involvement in proceedings leading to European Court of Human Rights rulings. He noted that the amount paid by Poland for actions of these judges has already reached significant sums, which continue to increase. Żurek expressed concern over over 1,200 cases involving Polish citizens that are currently frozen at the ECHR, fearing that once these cases are unblocked, Poland may lose them due to established legal precedents. He has initiated claims for reimbursement from the neo-judges for the financial burdens they have caused.
